Labor Support

Danielle Bergum offers labor support to Esali Birth local students on a limited basis. Inquire for full details and availability.  Additionally, I am currently attending pre- and postnatal (home birth) appointments with local midwife, Donna Spellman.  If you would like for me to be a part of your pre- and postnatal care, please contact me.  My availability for your birth is limited, but we can discuss my availability if you desire at a later time.

Breastfeeding Counseling

Danielle has hosted the monthly MOV Breastfeeding Cafe since 2010.  She has developed experience through extensive research and personal breastfeeding relationships including newborn nursing difficulties leading to partial pumping that was remedied with education, support, and a will to breastfeed.  She experienced mastitis, and because of education was able to easily work through those troubles.  She worked full time and successfully pumped when out of the home.  She had a wonderful nursing relationship with her daughter for 31 months and weaned with a combination of mother-baby-led weaning and is currently exclusively breastfeeding a baby while working part-time (driving home every 2 hours to nurse).  She is currently nursing her son (18 months) who was exclusively breastfed while working part time (bringing the baby to work, and also leaving work on a regular basis to nurse him at home).  She offers e-mail and phone counseling at no charge and in-home support on a limited basis.
